Terms of Service

1. About Remixipe

Remixipe is operated by Teo McArthur, based in New Zealand (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using Remixipe at remixipe.com(the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must provide accurate information when registering. Do not impersonate other people or entities.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Your Content

You retain ownership of all recipes, notes, and other content you create on Remixipe (“Your Content”). By posting public content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, distribute, and promote it as part of the Service.

You agree not to post content that:

• Infringes any third-party intellectual property rights;
• Is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, or harassing;
• Contains spam, malware, or deceptive information;
• Violates any applicable law or regulation.

We may remove content that violates these Terms without notice.

4. Subscriptions and Payment

Remixipe offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the following:

• Subscription fees are charged at the start of each billing period (monthly or annually).
• Annual plans are billed upfront for 12 months. Monthly plans renew each calendar month.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued for unused time.
• If payment fails, your subscription enters a grace period. After the grace period expires, paid features are restricted until payment is resolved.
• We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes take effect at your next renewal.
• All prices are in US Dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.

Stripe's terms apply to payment processing: stripe.com/legal. We do not store your payment card details.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its systems;
• Use the Service to send unsolicited commercial messages (spam);
• Interfere with the integrity or performance of the Service;
• Use automated means to create accounts or generate content at scale.

6. DMCA / Copyright

If you believe content on Remixipe infringes your copyright, please contact us at the address below with: (a) identification of the copyrighted work; (b) identification of the infringing material and its location on the Service; (c) your contact information; (d) a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is unauthorised; and (e) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data or profits.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or a prominent notice in the Service at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
