Miso Butter Salmon with Charred Broccolini

Broiler does all the work here. Salmon and vegetables cook on the same sheet.

Ingredients

Miso Butter

3 tbspbutter(softened)
2 tbspwhite miso paste
1 tbsphoney
1 tsprice vinegar

Salmon and Vegetables

4salmon fillets(6 oz each)
2 bunchesbroccolini(trimmed)
2 tbspvegetable oil
0.5 tspsalt
1 tbspsesame seeds

Method

  1. Set oven rack 6 inches from broiler element. Preheat broiler to high.
  2. Mix softened butter, miso, honey, and rice vinegar until smooth.
  3. Toss broccolini with oil and salt on a large baking sheet. Spread to edges.
  4. Place salmon fillets skin-side down in the center. Spread miso butter over each fillet.
  5. Broil for 8-10 minutes until salmon is cooked through and broccolini has charred edges.
  6. Sprinkle sesame seeds over everything and serve immediately.
